Attorney Heitczman has dedicated his career to advocacy on behalf of his clients.
His practice includes all contentious matters including criminal defense, civil lawsuits, family and divorce law and all areas, including administrative matters, that involve presentation of evidence and arguing on behalf of his clients.
In this regard, Mr. Heitczman has sought out and obtained excellent training, which includes, over the scope of his career:
- attendance at the National College of Criminal Defense in Houston Texas
- attendance at seminars in various parts of the U.S. from Boston to Florida and from New York to San Francisco
- participating as an instructor at seminars on behalf of the Pennsylvania Criminal Defense Lawyers as well as the Pennsylvania Bar Institute
- training in England at seminars in Oxford and London conducted by the American Bar Association
- attendance at an intensive course of training for practicing lawyers in the Inns of Court in London in a program run by the University of San Diego Law School
- promoting and participating in seminars conducted by a British barrister at law, the late Keith Evans, who also practiced in the state of California, and who has authored a number of books on advocacy including a currently published volume Common Sense Rules of Advocacy
- assisting Barrister Evans as to United States practice in Evans' book Courtroom Language
- helping to form and serving as president of the Judge Clinton Budd Palmer American Inn of Court in Northampton County
